Eltia I. Montano Galarza

Eltia is a seasoned litigator with 25+ years of experience in civil litigation, including insurance defense, medical malpractice, and public entity cases. She's worked in New Jersey and New York, handling various litigation matters at both federal and state levels. During law school, she interned for judges and was a teacher's assistant. After graduating, she clerked for a judge and participated in legal associations.

Eltia is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and the Hispanic Bar Association. She is also involved in community service, serving on boards and volunteering for organizations like La Casa de Don Pedro and the Puerto Rican Day Parade, Inc. Additionally, she is a co-founder of a nonprofit supporting a high school baseball program and a director at 4D Math Alliance, promoting equitable math education.

Eltia is fluent in Spanish and has served on the Parent Advisory Board of the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra's Greater Newark Youth Orchestras.
