Philip Holahan Gertner, an Associate in the firm’s Education Law and Municipal Law Practice Groups, adeptly handles diverse legal matters, including general education law, labor and employment, discipline, harassment, governance, OPRA, litigation, land development, and public contracting.

His expertise extends to providing guidance to marijuana-related businesses, navigating recreational cannabis regulations, and counseling on strategic planning, transactions, municipal law, land use, and zoning.

Before joining the firm, Philip served as a pro bono attorney for Partners for Women and Justice, focusing on domestic violence and sexual assault cases. His prior experience as a Law Clerk in a New York City law firm involved litigation strategy, manufacturer issues, employee relations, risk assessment, and complex legal areas in the aviation industry.
